5 seconds of Brilliance
The director of the new film Brilliance approached me to create a digital strategy that would encourage more crowd-funding donations to help finalize production. With all of the elements already finalized and in place – a site, a graphic ID and a promo film including director interview, what could I do to help influence donations with the deadline looming? We created a Facebook activation to entice donations from the director’s existing network. We offered friends to be part of the film’s making and the unique opportunity to purchase 5 seconds of raw film footage. A multitude of 5-sec snippets were supplied by the editor and the donations started kicking in.
