Whilst working at UNA designers, I was given the awesome task of creating the concept, art and design for the annual of the Photography Association of the Netherlands (PANL).
I wanted to create an annual where photography was the absolute and undisputed hero. The book was presented as an exhibition experience, where each page was presented as if in another room in a gallery. Enlarged numbers on new pages served as an announcement of a new photographer, while chapter divisions in bold colours, accompanied with a story of that category. For the first time in the history of the annual, these stories created clear division between different photographic disciplines.
